]]>With the creation of the University of Salamanca in 1218, the city became one of the most significant academic centres of Europe. It very much remains a univeristy city today. It’s also known to have the purest form of Spanish, Castilian, and so also attracts a lot of foreign language students, giving it an active nightlife on top of the great history and renaissance architecture.
]]>Pretty good deal at about €40/night for a double room with bathroom, internet and balconies.
ps. I filmed the room when I checked out so it’s a bit messy, but was spotless when I arrived.
