The Green Revolution

Posted on June 18th, 2009

New York holds a rally in solidarity for the Iranian people rising after Ahmedinejhad seemingly steals the election of June 12th, 2009 from Mousavi. The government of Iran has since cracked down on massive citizen protests with brutality, arrests, and wide censorship of media.

Lots of Iranian-American women attend the rally, which is nice to see. They’ve suffered most from the oppressive regime.
